Last weekend, 15 men traveled into the mountains of Arizona to get real before their brothers and the Lord. These students and staff have been participating in Dangerous Men's Groups weekly throughout the semester.

Friday night of the retreat, they began by rejecting all the ways that the world, the flesh and the devil had enslaved them. They watched a movie (a manly one) and slept outside on the concrete, where they fended off vicious beasts through the night.*

On Saturday, they continued their submission to the power of the Lord and His ability to free them from sin. In the afternoon, they drove deeper into the mountains, held a few strength competitions, and played a game of Capture the Flag high on a mountain. Several brothers were nearly lost in the wilderness, but they managed to return to their base came with only a few flesh wounds.*

Saturday night they took some time to thank the Lord for His goodness, and each of the men declared his allegiance to the Lord and His army. They followed their prayer with a campfire and cigars.

Sunday morning they woke early and packed up to make it back to civilization in time for Mass, after which many of the guys spent time together back at the men's household. All in all, God poured His grace upon these young men through this retreat and continues to do so every day, ever inviting them to follow Him with their whole lives.
