Who: Mission Leaders, Mission Directors, and student guests
When: Jan. 2nd - 5th, 2018 (3pm Tuesday – 11am Friday)

Note that select student guests from various Chapters will be joining us at MSR.
Each January the SPO Missionary Staff (Mission Leaders and Mission Directors) gather for a mid-year Retreat. It is not meant to be training (like MLT and MTT), but to be a retreat. As such, our time together in January plays a very important role in the overall experience of a year on staff for a Mission Leader or Mission Director.
The goal of our time together is connection: with the Lord Jesus, with each other, and with the particular mission and way of life the Lord is asking us to carry out and live.
Our January retreat is called the "Missionary Staff Retreat." This is meant to point to the fact that our time together isn't meant to serve only our Mission Leaders, but to provide a retreat and recharge for our Mission Directors, as well. God willing everyone will leave with renewed focus and vigor for another season of ministry to college students.

Students are responsible for their own travel costs.
All attendees flying to/from MSR should submit their airport ride requests by Friday, December 4th.

Oak Ridge is unique from other SPO National Event locations (such as the NET Center), in that it is a Hotel and Conference Center, not a retreat center. Rooms and meeting spaces are upscale, relaxing, and ideal for our retreat.
Mission Leaders will generally stay three to a room with two double beds. Mission Directors will have the option to stay two to a room with two double beds. Each room has its own private bathroom.
To accommodate staff rooming preferences, attendees have the option of choosing roommates for MSR. First, please coordinate with your potential roommates. Second, please fill out the MSR 2018 Rooming Google Spreadsheet by filling in your name and your roommates' names in the same row. If an an attendee's name is not in the Google spreadsheet before the deadline, the attendee will be assigned roommates.
*Students will be assigned room, and thus will not get to pick their own rooms.
