Men’s Nights are a staple to every SPO Chapter in the nation. They are a sacred space where men can come together and speak plainly about the primacy of character, honor, and service. Activities vary and content is never exactly the same, but one constant you could bank on this past semester was this conversation:
“Dude, are you guys sponsored by Barbasol?!”
“Yeah, we are. Here’s a free t-shirt.”
Through partnering with Barbasol, SPO Men’s Nights across the nation have been taken to a new level of excitement and credibility. The increased funds and momentum allowed Minnesota to throw a raging block party with talks from an ex-Navy SEAL and a National Champion Hockey player, while Ohio was able to feed 100 men steak and potatoes while hearing ex-NFL player and current Ohio State team chaplain Roy Hall speak about what it means to follow Jesus as men.
There are countless other stories from New Jersey all the way to Arizona about how much men are enjoyed teaming with Barbasol to advance true masculinity on their college campuses. There are few places more pivotal in the battle for men’s hearts than college campuses, and with the unstoppable duo of Barbasol and SPO, ground is being taken and men’s lives are taking on new vision and purpose as they pursue the purpose for which they were created.
