Last night, the New Jersey SPO Men's and Women's Households had the privilege of spending the evening with Co-Adjutor Archbishop Bernard Hebda.
"It was an honor having his excellence Archbishop Hebda to the Men's House for dinner," said Craig Johnson, Seton Hall University student and member of the Men's House.
The evening started off with a delectable steak dinner prepared by a few in-house chefs from the Men's House, complete with scalloped potatoes and salad. During the meal, each guy had the opportunity to share with the bishop how SPO has impacted their lives.
"The Archbishop took time out of his busy schedule to get to know us and understand our mission," Craig said. "It was a testimony to his character, love for the faith and the Church's mission of evangelization."
After the meal, the women from the Women's House came with dessert. As everyone ate their cake and sipped their coffee, the women had the chance to share with the Archbishop how they came to be involved with SPO.
