SPO Students Enter the Church at Seton Hall

After months of preparation, 15 individuals were received into full communion with the Catholic Church last Sunday at the Immaculate Conception Chapel at Seton Hall University. Two of the Catechumens, Holli Hornlien and Nicole Archibald, are part of the SPO outreach, involved in small groups and the Formation Program.

Because students are on break over the Easter Vigil, Seton Hall receives permission from the archbishop to be initiated the following week on Divine Mercy Sunday.

Nicole reflects on why she became Catholic:

"God is love. I became Catholic to experience and share His love. At Seton Hall, I have been blessed to encounter Christ in my faithful brothers and sisters. I am grateful that God has surrounded me with people who inspire me to believe and act with courage. Catholic faith grants me peace and provides a profound understanding of who I am and what I am made for. I look forward to continuing my faithful journey and fulfilling God’s plan!"
