Title: Gift Operations Supervisor
Mission Center: National Headquarters
Hannah hails from the glorious land of New Jersey, where she learned the importance of standing up for and defending what she loves even when everyone else in the world seems to be against it. This defense of what she loves not only refers to her Jersey pride (which is said to rival that of the Texas pride of her SPO brothers and sisters at Texas State), but also to her Catholic faith. As a result, Hannah is excited to make a stand in her faith by following the Lord’s call in her life to serve with SPO and to make a change in students’ lives just like SPO had done in her own life.
Hannah recently graduated from Seton Hall University, following in the footsteps of three of her five siblings. Graduating with a degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics, a minor in Catholic Studies, and a certificate in Information Technologies, Hannah is looking forward to utilizing the different aspects of her studies as she serves with the Development Team in the SPO National Headquarters. However, when Hannah isn’t acting as the glue that holds all of the inner workings of SPO together, she can be found spending time outdoors, playing the ukulele, or most likely laughing at her own jokes.
When asked what is going to be the most challenging part of serving with SPO in Minnesota, Hannah is quoted to have said, “Many people might think that the hardest part of leaving New Jersey to serve in Minnesota is the climate change, the frigid winters, and the obvious need for an extensive wardrobe of wool parkas, but in reality the most challenging thing will be surviving pumping my own gas every day as I mourn the loss of real bagels and Taylor Ham.”
