Andrew grew up on a farm just north of Chippewa Falls, WI. After experiencing a deep conversion the summer before his senior year of high school, Andrew came to understand that if he desired to be truly happy in this life, he would have to radically  change the way he was living. He began frequenting the sacraments and growing in his understanding of God’s powerful love for every individual. What affected Andrew the most were his mediations on the passion and death of Jesus, since these were what gave him the desire to evangelize. Following the enkindling of this newfound desire, Andrew entered Saint John Vianney College Seminary in St. Paul, MN., and remained there throughout his freshman, sophomore, and junior years of college.

During Andrew’s semester abroad in Rome, he heard the Lord calling him in a new direction. With the help of his spiritual and formation directors, Andrew discerned that God was calling him to marriage, and thus, left seminary. A year later, he graduated from the University of St. Thomas with degrees in Philosophy, Catholic Studies, and Classical Languages and married a lovely woman named Hannah. Three years later they have made their home in Roseville, MN and are the blessed parents of two boys; Leopold (2 years) and Gabriel (newborn). In his free time Andrew enjoys reading, competing in sports, playing cards, and enjoying the natural beauty of God’s creation.
