Chapter: Northeastern University
Adam was born and raised Catholic, attended mass every Sunday, and went to Catholic School all his life. He learned a lot about the faith intellectually, but it only became real to him through an encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist on a weekend retreat in High School. With the help of Mary, Adam came to know truly about what living a life with Christ was about, but he didn’t know how to share it with others until he got to college.
Adam attended Rutgers University (only a 12 min drive away from his home) where he encountered the Brotherhood of Hope and the Catholic Student Association. Through the formation of the Brothers and the opportunities the CSA offered, Adam learned how to share the Gospel. Adam experienced the Lord’s call to become a missionary with SPO through his time at World Youth Day in Poland and through the example of missionaries who have reached out to him.
Adam loves cooking, watching anime, laughing, and the Blessed Mother. His spiritual mentor and patron is Pope Saint John Paul II, a close friend to the Blessed Mother Mary.
“I plead with you — never, ever give up on hope, never doubt, never tire, and never become discouraged! Be Not Afraid!”
-Pope Saint John Paul II
