Title: Women's Supervisor
Mission Center: Ohio, Kansas
Chapters: Kansas City Young Adults, Ohio Dominican
Anna hails from Saint Paul, Minnesota where, as they say in Lake Woebegone, “All the women are strong, all the men are good looking, and all the children are above average.” After four years of studying Philosophy, Business, and Catholic Studies, she graduated in May of 2013 from the University of St. Thomas. Although there were other options for her, Anna choose to be a full time missionary with Saint Paul's Outreach. She wanted to bring the joy of Christian living she had discovered through the outreach to other young adults.
Anna has seen on college campuses what Blessed Mother Teresa noted: “the poverty in the West is a different kind of poverty -- it is not only a poverty of loneliness but also of spirituality. There's a hunger for love, as there is a hunger for God.” Through Saint Paul's Outreach, Anna has seen a way to feed this hunger.
Sent to Kansas City in 2013, Anna was on a team piloting a young professional chapter for Saint Paul's Outreach as well as ministering at a community college. Last year she devoted her entire time to the young professional chapter, and this year she is excited to continue building with four other teammates, one of which is her new husband. God is not done with Kansas City yet.
