Title: Mission Coordinator
Chapter: Kansas City Young Adults
Brigitte grew up in Ada, a small town near the middle-of-nowhere region of northwestern Minnesota. Graduating from high school in 2009 with 39 others, Brigitte then left the town of Ada to pursue her dreams of becoming the next Charlie from the movie Top Gun.
As a self-professed mathematics nerd, Brigitte tried to cram as much math as possible into her college career. She graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Concordia College with a minor in Political Science, and in May 2014, graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics and a minor in Astrophysics.
It was during her first year of studies at the University of Minnesota that Brigitte encountered Saint Paul's Outreach. Though she had grown up a practicing Catholic, Brigitte had never fully understood what living a faith alive in Christ Jesus meant until her encounter with the Lord through SPO. Thankfully, during the next two years at the University of Minnesota, God used Brigitte’s increasing activity in Saint Paul’s Outreach to change not only her faith but also her life.
Since responding to God’s call to become a Mission Leader for Saint Paul's Outreach, Brigitte served for two years as a Mission Leader at Benedictine College. Now she works in Kansas City for the Young Adult outreach. She is grateful and overjoyed for this opportunity to be a part of the Lord's great commission to “go and make disciples.”
