Catie Destatte

Title: Chapter Leader

Chapter: Benedictine College

Catie Destatte reigns from good ole Toledo, Ohio. She studied Theology and Catechetics at Fransiscan University, and it was during her time there that she came to know the Lord in a personal, life-giving, and dream-changing way. She always thought she would use her degree to minister to teenagers, but the Lord had a place for her in college ministry. She fell in love with this call as she served on Franciscans Women’s Ministry team. Upon graduation, she  (reluctantly, at first) answered the call to serve full time on college campuses with Saint Paul’s Outreach as His missionary.

Praise be, Catie overcame her initial stubbornness and served for two years at the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, MN. She then journey down I-35 to Atchison, Kansas, and is beginning her second year as a chapter leader at the Greatest Catholic College in America, Benedictine College (or so her favorite Ravens think).

Catie loves all things essential oils and believes they were all created equal and beautiful in their own way. She loves the outdoors and anything that will further her Chacos tan line, but hates bugs, and no, the two do not contradict. She is a “big freaking fan” of the oxford comma and an even more committed fan of Harry Potter. In her spare time, you can find Catie holding small babies or looking for an excuse to talk about the time she studied abroad in Austria. No, really, she’d love to tell you about it sometime!
