Dom Alexander

Title: Missionary

Mission Center: Florida

Chapter: Unviersity of Central Florida

Dom Alexander is a cradle catholic, born and raised in Columbus, Ohio.  He attended Thomas Worthington High School, and went on to study Automotive Technology at Columbus State Community College.  He enjoys playing sand volleyball and ultimate Frisbee, and especially loves fly-fishing!

Dom came to know the Lord while very ill in the hospital and was shown Jesus’s love and healing through His mother, Mary, and the rosary.  He was introduced to SPO through a friend and was invited to dinners and other SPO events with open and welcoming arms, soon after joining a bible study, men’s group, and the formation program.  Through all of this, Dom began discerning what God wanted him to do and finally chose to serve with SPO as a missionary to help other students on this journey of faith.  He will be serving on the University of Central Florida campus.  Please pray for Dom and all of the students that he encounters on his Mission!

“For through the law I died to the law, that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ; Yet I live, no longer I, but Christ lives in me; insofar as I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God who has loved me and given himself up for me.” (Galatians 2:19-20)
