Jillian Perlaky is a quirky individual from Oregon, OH. The two things Jillian takes most seriously in life are dancing and creating fun. Her favorite things are laughing, doing weird things with friends, being outside, and watching a good sunset. She is the youngest of 4 lively and loving siblings who live all over the country so she takes any opportunity to visit and spend time with them. She is blessed to have two supportive and inspiring parents who have been the most instrumental in showing her Jesus and providing opportunities for her to encounter Him.
Jillian first encountered the personal love of Jesus when she was a senior in high school on a retreat called Teens Encounter Christ. Since then, she has been seeking Him with all she has, always wanting to serve and love Him more. She encountered Saint Paul’s Outreach at The Ohio State University as a freshman, got involved and never looked back. SPO taught her how to have her own personal relationship with Jesus as well as how to share this relationship with her peers.
Jillian could not have been more excited when she learned Jesus was asking her to serve as a missionary for Saint Paul’s Outreach after graduation. She will be serving in Kansas City this year and is pumped to see what the Lord has in store!
Born and raised in Norwalk, Connecticut, Kimy is the youngest of four, with one older brother and two step sisters. She loves living near the water, spending time with her loud family, and rollerblading. After studying Social and Behavioral Sciences with a minor in Social Work at Seton Hall University, Kimy knew she wanted to serve others; the problem was finding where and how to do it. She went home after college and for two years worked three part-time jobs, volunteered with her church's youth group, taught confirmation, and mentored - all while her faith continued to grow before receiving this gift of being a missionary.
Kimy has been serving in Kansas City, KS since she joined the SPO community in 2013. Not only has she been helping to develop and form the two outreaches in the area, but she herself has been on a growing and formative journey! Kimy is eager to let the Lord continue the work He is about in the Kansas City area. She couldn’t have planned this for herself, and knows that the Lord has brought her to where she is supposed to be!
John grew up in the college town of Columbia, Missouri, playing soccer and watching Mizzou football games. His faith journey began at his high school youth group where he first experienced God in a powerful way. After high school, John had a strong desire to serve the Church and chose to attend Benedictine College, a strong Catholic college in Atchison, Kansas.
At Benedictine, John encountered Saint Paul’s Outreach and met great men and women who were passionate about their faith. He spent a summer doing service work in Detroit, was involved in countless retreats, and lived in a Saint Paul’s Outreach Household. John graduated from Benedictine with a degree in history in May 2013 and is excited to serve the Lord for an extended period of mission. His feels blessed to have the opportunity to share the love Christ has revealed to him with college students so that they, too, might experience the joy John has found.
