Just like all other Missionaries, an Administrative Missionary is sent to a campus, fundraises, and participates in team life at their campus. They are vital to our mission and serve alongside the Regional Administrator and Chapter Leaders with specific operational needs for their campus. That can be anything from managing Chapter social media, to planning and executing a retreat during the year.
As Christians, we are many parts but we are all one body. There is no one type of Missionary and your gifts in organization, strategy, and communication are essential to living deep relationship and being a transformational people.

MATT'S "WHY"
"As I’m beginning my second year with SPO, I have the opportunity to take on a new administrative role. Something I learned in the past year is that the work of evangelization can take a lot of different forms. Different personalities, talents, and passions can bless a team with being able to connect to different kinds of people and help to invite them into a relationship with God. As much as that applies to outreach, that same principle applies to administrative gifts. I discovered last year that in addition to my mission work on campus, I also really had a passion and mind for event planning, coordinating tasks, and responsibilities for my team. I realized that we actually need Missionaries with those giftings to do the work that God is calling us to do through SPO. Without talented administrators responding to His call, we won’t experience the fullness He wants for us in our communities, or as an organization. Now I know that God doesn’t just want to use the interpersonal and relational talents He has given me while I’m a Missionary, but He wants to use my whole person for building His kingdom in this community. If you feel like God might be calling you to mission, and your gifts lie in the areas of administration, know that SPO’s mission and call is a place where we need those gifts, and that we have places for you to bless communities of young people using your gifts."

NATALIE'S "WHY"
"In discerning what the Lord had next for me after college, He lead me to a point in which I wanted to live my life radically for Him. I knew I wanted to lay my life down in a way that was in the service of others. After being involved with Saint Paul’s Outreach throughout college, I decided to discern mission with an organization I already knew, and applied for the admin missionary position. The beauty of the hidden, behind the scenes work really appealed to me. To take care of the details no matter how small is to still serve the Lord and allows people to encounter His love through the work. It is an opportunity to support the mission in a way that helps to make it run smoothly and creates opportunities for people to encounter the Lord. By stepping into this admin position, I get to humbly lay my life down in a hidden way that intimately serves the Lord."
