Ordained a priest in 1997 for the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, he later completed a doctorate in Sacramental Theology in Rome. In 2013, he was ordained as auxiliary bishop of the archdiocese and, in 2021, was installed as the 8th bishop of the Diocese of Crookston.
Bishop Cozzens has been the chairman of the USCCB Committee on Evangelization and Catechesis and led the National Eucharistic Revival and the 2024 National Eucharistic Congress, where over 60,000 Catholics from across the country gathered in Indianapolis.

FAQ
-
According to IRS regulations, Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) can only be used for donations where no "goods or services" are received in return. As a sponsor for Late Night Live, there is a $50 "goods received" amount per attendee. The standard sponsorship package includes seating for eight guests, totaling $400 for the goods received portion. If you plan to bring fewer than eight guests, you can adjust the amount accordingly.
To comply with IRS rules, you may have the Foundation issue a check for the amount of the sponsorship level minus $400 and write a personal check for $400 to cover the "goods received" portion. If you have any further questions, please contact gifts@spo.org for more information.
-
Please note that seating will be assigned by sections, and not individual seats. Each Sponsorship includes 8 tickets within a section, but guests will not be assigned to specific seats within their section.
You are welcome to save seats once you arrive to guarantee all of your guests can seat together.
