Why I became an SPO Missionary

“Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance, the only thing it cannot be is moderately important.”

― C.S. Lewis

I came to understand this quote when I gave God a chance to break into my life when I was 18. Though knowing Him to be real and the most important aspect of my life, I really didn't have a direction or vision for how to live it out. Throughout my time at Ohio State, I saw men running after the Gospel and the adventure of a life with Christ that was attractive and called me on to be the man He created me to be. Time and time again, I saw men searching for truth and direction with their lives. As they encountered the men of SPO I watched them discover the joy of the Gospel, be formed into the men they were created to be, and be empowered to make an impact wherever they go.

With the state of the culture, I believe that the men I am impacting and raising up through my work in SPO will be the next generation of leaders in their families, the church, and the world. Their is nothing else I'd rather be doing than fighting for that.
