Why I became an SPO Missionary
I first encountered SPO as a freshman at Benedictine College. The men in my Men's Group and Men's House became brothers who supported and challenged me in the spiritual battle of college life. The Missionaries and my Household community were constants of Christ-like support. My studies in Theology, Philosophy, and Evangelization deepened my understanding of SPO's mission. By senior year, it was clear God was calling me to serve with SPO. Deciding to serve with SPO was the easiest decision of my life, and I am honored to have built transformational community with SPO the past three years.
Favorite Scripture verse
"O God, you are my God, I seek you,
my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary,
beholding your power and glory.
Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands and call on your name."
- Psalm 63:1-4
