Why I became an SPO Missionary

My college experience was a transformative time for growing in my faith. I owe this to the women who walked with me in campus ministry. Through their witness of the love of Christ, I came to know God as a miracle worker, divine physician, provider, and true friend. My life is forever changed by this encounter with Christ, and I am forever grateful to have met Him through His campus missionaries. I said yes to mission for what sets my heart on fire. I’m convicted that Jesus wills to meet everyone in an intimate way. The Lord has an abundant life for all of His children! My heart burns for the healing of God’s people. I believe He has a mission to fulfill this desire in a particular way through ministry on college campuses. I consider it an honor for me to serve as Christ’s hands and feet in this way as a SPO missionary.

Favorite Scripture Verse

"I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God." - Romans 8:18-21
