Why I became an SPO Missionary

During my time in college, I was lost, deep in sin, and had no idea of my identity or purpose in life. I met SPO my sophomore year, where I encountered a community that loved me so genuinely which ultimately led to my conversion, through an encounter of Jesus’s presence in the Eucharist.

I was given a heart that breaks for the many students that are where I was: lost, but hungry; looking for truth and love. The answer is simple, it’s Jesus. I’m a missionary for this reason: to be a fisher of men and bring those that are lost back to Jesus.
